Reducing external joints have internal threads, but pipes with different nominal diameters at both ends. 3. Live joint: also known as connecting nut or live screw. It consists of two joints and a sealing surface. The sealing surface is located between the two joints and connects the two joints, which can be used to easily install and disassemble the joints during maintenance. 4. Elbow: also known as 90° elbow, curved ruler and curved head. With internal thread, it is used to connect two pipes with the same nominal diameter and make the pipeline make a 90° turn. 5. Reducing elbow: also known as big and small elbow, big and small elbow. It is used to connect two pipes with different nominal diameters or pipe fittings and valves with external threads, and make the pipeline make a 90° turn, and the diameter of one end of the pipeline is reduced. 6. 45° elbow: also known as straight bend and half bend. Outer Moon Bend: Also known as Outer Silk Moon Bend, Moon Bend. The purpose is similar to the elbow. Its arc radius is larger. Mainly used for pipelines that require a large bending radius. The outer lunar bend is with an outer thread, and it must be used with an outer joint when connecting with a pipe. 8. Three links: also known as Sanlutian, Tianziwan, T-shaped bend. Used to connect 3 pipes with the same nominal diameter or pipe fittings and valves with external threads. Two of the pipes are in a straight line, and the other pipe is perpendicular to the two pipes. Used in places where branch pipelines need to be connected. 9. Reducing tee: its use is similar to the tee. However, the nominal diameters of the three ends are not all the same or all different, and the end used to connect the branch pipe can be perpendicular to the straight pipe end, or it can form a 45° angle with the straight pipe end. 10. Four-way: also known as cross joint, four-way sky, four-fork. It is used for the connection between the main pipeline and the branch pipelines on both sides. The four-way has two kinds of same diameter and different diameter. Mainly used for gas conveying pipelines, making the pipelines cross-shaped branches. The application range is smaller than that of tee.
